Proud moment for Capella as Melbourne Metro Tunnel opens

November 30th marked a proud moment for Capella as Melbourne celebrated the opening of the Metro Tunnel project, made possible through the resolve, strength, expertise and shared vision of the Victorian government and our consortium Cross Yarra Partnership comprising Capella Capital, Lendlease, John Holland, Bouygues Construction and John Laing.

Bringing together world-leading expertise, shared values, and a commitment to excellence, this collaboration turned ambitious plans into a successful reality. We’re incredibly proud of our contribution to delivering the Metro Tunnel - a truly city-shaping project that will transform the way Victorians will move through their communities.

This new connection will give people faster and easier access to employment, education, and healthcare supporting a more connected accessible vibrant Victoria for generations to come. Faster and easier access to jobs, hospitals, universities and arts and entertainment precincts.

As we move to the operational phase, Capella is excited to continue to enhance the daily commute for Victorians with ensuring long term asset maintenance excellence and providing diverse advertising and retail offerings at the stations.
