Successful refinancing of the Sydney Light Rail

Capella is pleased to have advised ALTRAC Light Rail and its equity investors Aware Super, John Laing Investments Ltd and Acciona Concesiones S.L. on the successful refinancing of the Sydney Light Rail PPP which reached financial close on July 2021. This was Capella’s first green loan financing which recognises the sustainability benefits the Sydney Light Rail project provides to Sydney and the operational performance achieved to date. This marks a continuation of our relationship with ALTRAC, its investors and Transport for NSW all the way back to contract close in 2014  and highlights Capella’s financial advisory capability for infrastructure assets.
