Education Works New Schools PPP Project

The Education Works News Schools PPP Project comprised the financing, design, construction, operations and maintenance of six new schools in metropolitan Adelaide.

Construction of the schools was completed progressively over a 2 year period and operations commenced in 2011. Services provided during the operations period include all building and facilities management with the Department of Education and Children’s Services retaining all core educational functions.

The schools were built at Playford North, Regency Park School, Blair Athol, Woodville Gardens, Munno Para West and Gepps Cross. The schools cater for a range of students from birth to Year 12 with some schools including special education and child care facilities.

Capella Capital provided financial advisory and transaction management services, was financial sponsor and 50% equity investor to the Pinnacle Education SA consortium. Other consortium members included Hansen Yuncken, Spotless and CBA.
