Daniel Khong

Director

Daniel has over 20 years of experience of project development in the property and infrastructure sectors, in a career that spans architectural practice, public sector management and private sector development and finance.

Since joining Capella in 2016, Daniel has worked on the successful Melbourne Metro and Frankston Hospital Redevelopment PPPs and led the organisation’s approach to the social and affordable housing sectors. His key strength is working across disciplines, navigating the interests of public, non-profit and private sectors, to create commercially deliverable solutions to complex city building projects.

Prior to joining Capella, Daniel was Project Director for the Wynyard Quarter, Auckland’s award-winning waterfront redevelopment. He commenced his career as an architect in Melbourne, later joined Development Victoria, becoming Urban Design Director, and was an inaugural member of the Office of the Victorian Government Architect’s Design Review Panel. He has an MBA from MIT, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne.
